Summary

Software developer with about 1.5 years of professional experience from a project position and freelance work. Most recently responsible for designing and building a centralized logging portal from scratch, including containerization and Kubernetes configuration. I work best in small teams with short decision paths, where I can own the whole chain, from architecture and code to making sure the solution actually works in production. Strong foundation in Java and C#, hands-on experience with Laravel, .NET and Unity, and a strong interest in Linux, networking and infrastructure, which I develop through my own server and operations projects.

Work Experience

Full-Stack Developer (project position) · Leancom AB

Nov 2025 – Jun 2026

  • Responsible for the design and development of a centralized logging portal that collects logs from several internal systems and makes them searchable and filterable for developers. Built with Laravel and Vue, with a webhook API (one API key per source) and a RabbitMQ/AMQP consumer for the log stream from Vector. The result was faster debugging and bug identification across multiple systems.
  • Took ownership of the containerization of the portal: Dockerfiles and Docker Compose for local development, plus the Kubernetes configuration (deployments, services, env/secrets) for the project’s namespace in the company cluster.
  • Worked in a two-person team with a senior developer and took part in architecture and design decisions as we built a scalable foundation that evolved into a monolith–microservice hybrid.
  • Wrote technical documentation for both existing systems and the systems I built myself, making further development and handover easier.

Freelance Developer (part-time) · Unity / .NET / Java

Jan 2025 – Sep 2025

  • Unity developer on an indie 3D game in a globally distributed team of three, up to 30 h/week. Owned the tower defense part of the game with support from the project lead: new gameplay features and refactoring from object-oriented to data-oriented design (Unity DOTS/ECS).
  • Asynchronous multiplayer platform for mobile games: server in ASP.NET Core + MySQL for match handling, scores and rewards, plus a Unity SDK (distributed as a UPM package via GitHub) with JWT-secured communication for easy integration into multiple games.
  • Minecraft mod (Bedrock Edition) with 14 swords with unique abilities, built in JavaScript and JSON on Microsoft’s scripting API. Very positive feedback from the client.

Crew Member · McDonald's

Nov 2024 – Mar 2025

  • Fast-paced service job: built communication, teamwork and a sense of responsibility within a team.

Personal Projects & Operations

Home Server and VPS Operations · Hobby / hosting for acquaintances

2026 – present

  • Run my own headless Linux server as well as rented VPSs, administered over SSH. Since my home network is behind CGNAT, I built a WireGuard tunnel to a VPS that acts as the public entry point and reverse proxy.
  • Caddy as reverse proxy with automatic TLS, Docker Compose for the services, plus DNS, firewall rules, logging and troubleshooting. I currently host websites for a few acquaintances on my own domain, as well as a Minecraft server.
  • Work extensively with AI assistance in my own projects, which has given me a realistic picture of where AI speeds things up and where I need to review, test and take responsibility for quality myself.

Education

Software Engineering, Bachelor’s Programme · Linnaeus University

2021 – 2024 (paused)

  • Three years of studies focused on programming, mainly in Java, as well as algorithms, data structures and systems development. Degree not completed.
